Innocent-enough looking turkey..... But it is just a ruse to lull the seller into a sense of false security. Don't be fooled, this is one savvy turkey! |
Hi G-Fans!
Another Fabulous fall day! As I perused through the archives I thought I would share some helpful car buying techniques when looking for a good used car. (BTW - The buyer is a turkey!)
 |
| Always make a thorough initial overview of the vehicle. |
 |
| Check the mirrors to be sure they work and look in the windows to see if the inside is clean. (You can also take a minute to make sure your hair and makeup are looking good when no one is paying attention...) |
 |
| Always check the tires, they are a big investment if they need to be replaced. It will also tell you if the car has been maintained and driven well. |
 |
Even if you don't know what you are looking at, ask to look under the hood. You can spot rust and spills and grime build-up which can indicate potential problems. A second look at the tires is a good idea too. You can never be too careful.
Of course you should always go for a test drive, but make sure it is a car that is actually for sale.... It would be embarrassing to be picked up for stealing a car when you thought you were just test driving it....!
Well, that is it for the car buying. I have to see the doctor today with Snagglepus. I hate driving at high speeds, it's the noise that bothers me, so I hope we take the back roads. But, I doubt we will. The best solution would to be to stay home. But there is some kind of regulation that requires I get these awful shots... people suck,,,, sometimes anyway. I guess after I get it I can attack something furry without everyone whispering the "R" word or worse, "quarantine" and "decaptitation".... I don't know, I'm just not buying it! But, no one asked me if I was so I have to go. It seems to me that royalty should be exempt from this sort of common chicanery... apparently not!!
Well, enough for one day... I must go commune with my subjects and spot check the royal grounds. TTFN! -G |
