OH MY!

We aren't in Kansas anymore!

When I saw this video I knew I had to share.  If this had happened in my back yard.... it would have been verrrrry exciting!  But, I will secretly admit, that I am glad it happened elsewhere.  Although, we thought we saw the Massachusetts wandering Black Bear down the street the day before he wandered across the canal to the Cape and before his FIRST relocation. We can't confirm or deny this as true, just leaving the possibility open.  I think that bear has been relocated three times already....  

Anyway, back to the video... I think this family is just

soooo happy to be reunited.  That woman was really brave to get that close to a Momma Bear and her cubs.  It seems Momma Bear may have known that the people in the truck were trying to help.  How smart that woman was to do it from the back of a truck for a quick getaway if needed!

Other than that... No complaints today.  We had a good walk last night.  Even though it was in constant rain, it felt good.  It was a warm summer rain.  And the smell of our wet furred not-recently-bathed bodies filled the house upon our return.  

Life is good :)
