Rambling On

Pre-puppies.  Show time at the Boston show.  My first show,
I won 3 out of 4 days and got my first major.
I like winning.  It makes me prance.

Hi.
Being a dog you would think I would run out of things to share.  But that is the beauty of being the princess.  I can designate others to do my work.  I am not of a mind to do that today, but it is an option I like to invoke on occasion.  If I did it too often, however, it would be less mine.... don't you agree?
I am thinking that you have heard a little something from everyone except Raphael, even the concierge has had an opportunity.  I don't know if Raphael will ever take time from his light reflection hunting, bug shadow chasing and shoe retrieving activities to write.  He is also busy inspecting perimeters, enforcing pecking orders and pointing birds and bunnies out.  He is also keen on Turkey alerts.  I have to say, though, he and the rest of us, are pretty slack in catching deer and fox. We have missed several sightings on our walks that the concierge has shared later with us.  I caught on to the Tree Swallows at the bog, while everyone missed that initially.  Even though the concierge, is vision impaired, it seems she notices the deer, fox and eagles more quickly, even though we see better, hear better and smell better (with our noses, not our body odor, according to the concierge).
Well, I digress.
I am rambling,  The thunder and lightning today has me a little rattled.  I didn't used to be bothered by them, but then Riley started getting jittery, and then Tessa started, and then the boys.... so I figured they might be onto something so it makes me anxious now too.
Again, I digress.
I will get some pictures from the album and sign off for today.
TTFN!

This is a special pet visit day at the nursing home.  Notice who is getting the love!
She and I had a special relationship.  She would let me nap for hours on her bed on
days I would go to work with the concierge.  It was the only place, other than
the concierge's office, that I could really relax.
This is Schubert giving the stare-down to the school Guinea Pig.
He was visiting the School as a Therapy Dog.  He was Certified
like me.  He liked it way more than I did.  I just liked being with
the concierge all day.  (Don't tell her I said so, she'll never let
me live it down!)
Here I am with Schubert.  We see something we are interested
in on the shore.  Probably a Piping Plover or a Seagull.

Here is Riley and Schubert at the beach.  Riley really loved Schubert.
Everyone really loved Schubert.  That was the kind of dog he was.
Lovable.
Here is another one of Riley and Schubert.
They have a bead on something.
Schubert loved cooling off in the water.
This was a pretty hot day and he had a rough morning that day.
Schubert was sick for five out of his short eight years.
He struggled with seizures.  The concierge worked hard
to keep him stable.  He was taking a lot of medication, being
fed special food, going to special doctors, etc.  Even with all the
special treatment, he still suffered frequently.
I am about to tease Schubert into chasing me.
I don't remember if it worked or not.
