Mixed Review......

Hi G-Fans!
Well, it was a super fabulous spectacular day, aside from one thing.  Well, maybe two.
It started out kind of dreary, but cleared up, warmed up and really became a lovely spring day.
We are expecting even better tomorrow.
Now, there is still snow, both in the back yard and in the forest.  Even with all the rain we have had it lingers on.
So, we did a forest walk.  We were told it would be no later than noon that we would be underway with our adventure.
Yeah, about that.....
It started mid-afternoon.
And none too soon.
Up until our departure the day was going poorly despite the lovely weather.
The  concierge did a deep clean.  Not only did every drag-able item get put onto the deck for inspection and processing, but the floors were fumigated, rugs and curtains were washed, it was a complete and utter disaster!
The place smells like gardenias and almonds.
Ugh.
We had worked so hard to sneak those ammonia notes and oily glandular notes into the aroma of the royal abode.
In fact, we were acknowledged for our work by the old babysitter just last week.  He said that the place smelled like a kennel.  So, I think we were onto something with our scent layering....
The concierge found our secret stash of pee spots and utilized the washer to eradicate that whole level of smell.
So disappointing.  She can be so thorough sometimes it is discouraging.
Now to add to the insult of the cleaning spree, she didn't even go home with us after the walk.  She was deposited at some location and didn't return until much later.  She seemed a bit perturbed and a bit manic.
She was still pretty dirty from the walk and the cleaning, which I think was not in her plans.... but some snafus in timing (and to her credit, not because of her poor planning or timing) and she definitely had planned on getting back to complete the task of getting things back in order, which she did, but I think much later than was the plan and expectation.
So, she was a little wound up when she got back.
Also, I smelled some espresso and chocolate on her breath and there was a container with some of the same smelling stuff that was put into the refrigerator when she got back.  I think that may have added to the manic-ness of her demeanor.....
Just a guess.
So, May you roll with your day and focus on the positive events regardless of the setbacks....!
TTFN!
