Hi G-Fans!
Well, it is in the wee hours of the morning and the storm has finally settled down. There has been mad shoveling going on front and back and there still is a problem. When I have to go to the royal "water closet" I have to have some space between my nether regions and the ground. Even with all the shoveling, ground space is a limited commodity right now. Riley is even in a more precarious predicament since his legs are shorter. And all his other physical limitations add to the challenge. So I guess I shouldn't be too whiny.
The good news, so far, is we have our power, which means warm meals (human and dogs) and no rearranging of anyone like the birds. We still are enjoying the warmth of the wood stove and the furnace.
Of course, we had no official walk since it was a challenge to just get out of the door. And I wasn't too keen on that either.
I have enjoyed the quiet that a storm of this magnitude brings. Although there was an interloper midday. I wasn't too sure about all of it, but the concierge was pretty happy. It meant less shoveling for her and a well cleared out driveway. But, then we had another foot since then so there has still been shoveling. I think the concierge is most challenged, currently, as to where the unwanted snow can go. The dumping areas are getting pretty high.
Tonight's snow, luckily is more powdery, if it was wet, I think the concierge might have passed out at 11:00 from overexertion.... The piles are just that high.
So, not much else to report from here.
Tomorrow will have a slow start, but I think there will be some activity later in the day.
So, may you find ways to manage the piles of unwanted stuff in your life.....
TTFN!
