Hi G-Fans!
Well, there was a forest walk yesterday and it was not one we have done before exactly.
The walk started with a bang when an unleashed ruffian and his dog came upon us while we were preparing ourselves for the journey. Harry was in the back of his royal transportation with his concierge getting his paraphernalia hooked up when a dog of unknown origin or pedigree jumped into the vehicle with him! We didn't have a good view as we were at the front of the vehicle, so we missed out on some of it:(
Suffice it to say that there was a surprise factor.
The unleashed ruffian came to gather the dog and he tethered himself to the dog and continued on their walk. We thought we were done with them, but we met up with them again down the path. They were still tethered and we had time to step off the path. We made sure that they knew that we knew that they were questionable hombres... which hastened their pace to pass quickly - a smart move on their part... sometimes you have to make a fuss to get your point across! The concierge says we go overboard and it is ridiculous. I say that she isn't on the same end of the leash as us and she should try it sometimes before she makes any judgments....
Just sayin'....
So, today we did another nice walk, although the sun was elusive and it was a rather grey and dingy sort of day. The walk, however, was quite nice, although we missed Harry and his entourage. We weaved between three ponds on our excursion and enjoyed some views of partially frozen pond surfaces and lightly snow dusted flora and the lingering scents of fauna. It was a bit warmer today so Tessa was more comfortable than yesterday.
Oh, and on another note from yesterday....
The concierge may not be a kitten, but she did lose a really nice "mitten" (creative license - it was a glove, but that word doesn't go as well...). So off she went at nine o'clock at night in a high hunt for her glove. She hopped in the car in her bathrobe, slippers and pjs and went to town, literally. Don't let on you know about this. It is hush, hush you know.
She actually found it in the third location, which was suppose to be her first stop, but she found it, that is what counts....
RIght?
It is hard to tell if she is going off the deep end, or is just feeling more energy...?
She certainly nods off enough!
Last night we didn't write together because she passed out after her adventure.
This morning she didn't because she slept so late there was no time.
This afternoon she started with me and then passed out before the walk.
So, I guess it is safe to say the energy is only in spurts.....!
Anyway...
May you find the motivation to keep in motion when needed and the sense to be still when needed.
TTFN!
-G
