Hi G=Fans!
Well, finally a nice day after all that dreary rain the last few days!
AND....
We DIDN"T walk in the dark!
We were not Vampires!
We had the sunshine on our faces and tickling our noses!
It was a fairly quiet walk because the concierge can't talk.
She's been like that since last night.
No yelling, talking, demanding, cooing or other methods of verbiage. She is whispering, but sometimes we make a lot of noise and drown her out.
She will clap, whistle, click, cluck and tsk.....
It is fairly effective. Bertie, however, struggled when he ran out with a sweatshirt clamped into his teeth. The concierge hissed at him and he struggled to listen. She stomped and grunted and then took it out of his mouth. He was on the cusp of flying down the stairs and listened enough to stay for a few moments, but as an observer I would not have laid bets on which way it would have gone.
We enjoyed a lovely walk to the bog with an extra jaunt down the gauntlet and up the dirt road before reuniting with the path. We even talked to a plumber. Whatever that is. Harry freaked out, Riley sniffed him and I decided I would too since the plumber did not do anything to Riley. Bertie barked his head off and we had to pick it up and reattach it. (JK - the reattachment part, not the barking part - he is going around headless now in practice for next week! ) (JK - he isn't headless)
Anyhoo....
The concierge pretty much dumped us off and blew out of the driveway to go somewhere to learn about fishes, she does it every year. She smelled funny when she got back, but not like ocean or rotten seafood..... so I am not so sure I followed the whole event...
And last night was bizarre.
The concierge dragged home late, ate and then instead of walking us passed out on the couch while the helper and Harry's concierge walked us for a minute and closed up the royal abode for the night.
The concierge was comatose!
Supine.
Insensate.
You get the idea.
She was unavailable.
Anyway..
May you get the rest you need to keep you healthy and circumspect.
TTFN!
-G
