Crunchy leaves and Crisp air and Cozy naps.....

Hi G-Fans!

So, where did we leave off?  

Yesterday we had a bog walk with Gabriella and Harry, and Harry's concierges and a sister... We started out with some daylight, saw a lovely sunset and then traipsed back in the dark.  The only excitement that comes to mind was that Gabriella cut loose several times from her body halter.... clever girl!

Other than that no excitement there.

Today was rainy so there were changing plans.  There was going to be some planting done today, but that had to change due to the steady nature of the rain.  So, our walk was pushed, again, to later in the day.  This time, however, it worked out. No rain and a nice sunset AND we walked back in the light.

We ate before the walk so we were pretty relaxed, except when those wild kids rode past us on wheeled toys.  If we could have only been able to get a couple of toes or other digits.... that would have been satisfying!

Gabriella and Harry didn't join us initially.  Harry caught up, Gabriella stayed back with the baking chicken.  Hard call.

Speaking of the chicken... there were some concerns with that!

When the humans had their meal they were removed from all of us, and yet, Raphael, Snagglepus and Sophie had access to their area.  WHAT?!?

I was incensed !  I don't buy the whole "keeping the peace and Riley and Bertie and Snags safe" thing...  I think it was just a ruse...

So, I pressed my snout between the barriers, moaned and whined until FINALLY my message was acted upon and I was allowed into the inner sanctum as well.  Man, that chicken smelled GOOD!

I had to act like that wasn't the reason I caused a ruckus... I had to make it out that it was about being excluded from the human activity (gag).... the stuff I have to do!

I made sure that the edges of the table were cleared...

You see...

My beard has more than mud collecting properties!

Anywhoooo.....

We broke bread with the old babysitter, Gabriella's concierges, the helper and the concierge.

Oh, and Raphael and Snagglepus....

Bertie and Gabriella were really annoyed being left out!

They make a big deal about the littlest stuff.

Anyway, may you romp among the crunchy leaves in the crisp fall air... and take cozy naps afterwards.....!
