Hi G-Fans!
So, thought I would get you all up to speed on the latest and greatest in our speedy lives!
We did do a great walk and not in the forest and not on the beach. We went nearby to a walk that winds us through three different ponds. There were some pretty delectable smells we picked up on throughout the journey... Very Nice!
I will say, however, that, again, the weather switched up on us! There was some nice sun in the morning, but by the time the concierge moseyed on home, had lunch, had dessert, had tea, it was overcast, cloudy and pretty darn cold. But, the walk was still excellent despite the weather conditions, at least we didn't have our tongues hanging out of our heads today.
Oh, I never told you how the doctor visits went...
Bertie, Tessa and Riley were due for their Rabies vaccine.
So off they went for their appointment after yesterday's walk.
From what I understand Bertie scared the entire staff at the hospital with his baritone howlish bark when the doctor walked into the room. She startled him and he startled her, and she quickly backed out of the room when Bertie barked. He expected to see one of his familiar faced doctors and he had never met this doctor, and to tell you the truth she wasn't smelling all that trustworthy. Then she proved it by sticking a thermometer up his butt before she even introduced herself to him. By the end of the exam she stuck him in the butt with a needle. So, she is NOT his favorite doctor! Next RIley went, and although he was a trooper, he was getting a little jellied-kneed by the end of it and was glad to steal Tessa's hidey spot under Harry's concierge's chair when Tessa was dragged out to be poked, prodded and stuck as well.
From what I understand it was just one humiliation after another.....!?
Bertie said if he can help it he will make sure he never gets that doctor again!
Riley isn't too unhappy since now he gets some stuff that keeps his neck and back feeling better.
So, when life is sticking you with unsavory experiences may you utilize effective coping skills to carry on!
