Hi G-Fans!
Another fabulous summer day with little to no complaining or fault finding on my part! There was no cleaning to speak of so the house is smelling mighty fine! The weather was terrific, sunny, breezy, comfortable and perfect for walking in the forest. We did a long one. We found a cache of blueberries and some beach plums (the concierge spit hers out - the plums, not the blueberries). By the time we were done our tongues were hanging out of our mouths.
When we got home the concierge acted like a weirdo and wouldn't let us into the pool right away. But then we realized that she wanted to catch Riley "in the act", I tried to stay out of lens range, but she caught me for one. So enjoy the pictures of Riley lounging and cooling off in the pool. Or, as the concierge calls it, "the world's largest dog water bowl". She thinks she is a laugh riot every time she says that, I don't get it. But, whatever. If there is a video on this that means we were able to get it to work. Hopefully it works for you if it is there.
The only complaint I might lodge would be the few hours the concierge disappeared from the royal domain, and at dinner time no less! And then upon her return we thoroughly sniffed her out and she smelled suspiciously of some mighty fine vittles! With some in hand I might add. There will be no hard feelings as long as the leftovers are properly disbursed and shared.... if not......
So, may we all have more fine summer days while we cruise through the month of August.
