Hi G-Fans!
Where do I begin?
I almost didn't get to blog today because the concierge had extracurricular activities this evening and she didn't return until very late. Let's just say that Cinderella's ride would have been a pumpkin being pulled by mice by the time she returned.
But, here I am spilling my guts.
I mean, here I am sharing my erudite and fascinating thoughts and insights.
So, The concierge got pretty cranky today because the walk was shifted.
The good news is we said goodbye to the helper's ride that was a constant reminder from days gone by when Riley and I showed the helper the sorts of things we enjoy rolling in... On our first time meeting him mind you....! So I say good riddance! (Although, there were a lot of good memories from walks of the past tied up in that transport vehicle. And personally, I enjoyed rolling in what I rolled in, I thought it made me more alluring.... I am just sick of hearing about it from the concierge....blah, blah, blah...!)
So, that transaction entailed unknown humans to come into close proximity of the royal abode.
We let them know not to get too close to the door. Which they didn't.
Next, Snagglepus was whisked off for the second Saturday in a row to a doctor. This one thinks there is a metabolic or glandular issue going on, so an ultrasound is on his dance card for March. The dentistry waits..... He has some interesting medications to tide him over until his appointment. He was pretty stoned earlier this evening..... The concierge is rethinking his "cocktail" so he isn't quite so "snowed".... He is better now and has eaten more today than he has in the week combined... we guess....
Next our walk.
It started to snow on our walk.
The concierge stopped us halfway through to take pictures (see below).
While on our photo shoot, with the concierge taking the pictures, gloves between her knees, The Helper holding all of us, two dogs and a snow bike come up from behind.
We go ballistic! As we should!
The concierge can't get the phone put away, or her gloves on or untangle the leashes immediately....
And the guy was not very effectual in getting his dogs to listen and go away from us.
We did NOT, however, have a close encounter.
We WANTED to have one.
BRING IT ON!
Raphael and I were ready and willing to engage!
I don't know what the big deal was, the concierge kept telling us to knock it off and keep moving (once we were untangled).
She is SOOOOO uptight!
Then some lady approached Bertie and Tessa in the parking lot, and THEN a golden retriever pulled into the lot sticking his head out of the window.
Yikes. Bedlam!!
But, no encounters that were up close and personal.
So, now the snow has turned to rain, the pantyhose thing seems to be working well on the roof, and we keep our fingers crossed....!
So, may your days be filled with meaning in abundance!
TTFN!
-G
