tomatoes, zucchini and other stuff

Hi G-Fans!

Well, I suppose a Happy Labor Day is in order....

First let me share that yesterday the concierge and I went in the front yard and picked tomatoes and a rather large zucchini. I told her I would check the perimeter for bunnies and other creatures that may be problematic.  I was so intent on my job that I really didn't hear the concierge tell me we were going in.... really.

It was nice to get away from the riffraff and spend quiet time with the concierge.

Today we spent time together too.  But it was couch potato time.  She left for work and came back smelling like the vet minus the animal smells, and no smells of her people she smells like on Mondays....

She smelled a bit like RIley a few weeks ago, or a bit like she smelled a few weeks ago, but she kept me awake shivering and then sweating.  Harry's concierge made sure she ate and took some pills and drank fluids.  I guess it has to do with that smell on her left side I was noticing.  I didn't want to point it out, but it has been building in my nose for several days.  We all noticed....  At least she is getting it addressed.  She told me she is taking something to deal with all the hot/cold and redness and swelling.....let's hope by tomorrow morning she is managing better.  She was moving S-L-O-W this morning, I thought she was ridiculous for going to work, she kept lying down... but who am I to direct her activities?

So, Riley, Snagglepus, me and the boys have been taking turns watching her, we still need our beauty sleep too you know. Tess prefers to stay at a distance.... that is how she is.... I think she gets freaked out.

Anyway, I am sure against all good judgment she did walk with RIley and myself, we behave very well so she could make the full school walk.  The helper and Harry's concierges took everyone else.  So, it worked out, but that knocked the concierge on her keister for the remainder of the night.  She ate a little, but not much, I offered to help, politely, but she declined and chose to save everything for later.  That is the third time (not that I am counting) that she hasn't finished her meal.... she NEVER not finishes!!    Serious business!  

So, we will see what happens tomorrow....

It is nice to have her around, but there is more to life than sleeping!

These are plants that grew without the concierge planting them.... we think they are going to be like  butternut squash, but we dont' really know....

This was one of the shifts of watchers for the concierge.  Snagglepus is on her lap, even though you can't see much of him.....  notice the PINK sleeve!
