Hi G-Fans!
So, Did you notice that an entry was skipped? I know I did. It is always something!
The concierge unexpectedly passed out last night, I guess it should be expected by now and not unexpected.... I guess I need to rethink my approach.
Anyway, as she woke up at some ridiculous hour realizing her faux pas, there was no blog activity for last night. She did, however run the dishwasher, scoop the kitty boxes and scoop the kitty herself into her private suite and separate the boys from one another. Unfortunately that was inadequate as Snagglepus, 45 minutes later, startled Raphael in the dark. And, if you have been paying attention you know, that isn't good.
No harm came to anyone, but the concierge had to jump to and pull Raphael up so Snagglepus could make a safe get away. So, the concierge had to hunt through the house at another ridiculous hour looking for the cat to make sure he actually was ok. Which he was... so then the concierge remained disturbed trying to figure out, "What to do?". Anyway, it was rough in the wee hours of the morning this morning....
The thunder and lightning storm broke the muggy heat and the windows could be opened for fresh air and cross ventilation and we could shut down the a/cs. The concierge and I are relieved to have those off, they are so noisy! That quiet is irreplaceable! ...But, we gratefully and willingly live with the noise when the weather is so dank!
But, tonight will be a full retreat to the royal boudoir! That will be nice!
The Sophie is already tucked away, the dishes are already underway and we are a few short moments away from sweet slumber.... mmmmm....
Tonight we did a forest walk that was entirely uneventful, aside from a lone bicyclist which sent Harry. Raphael and myself into spasms. The concierge says we do that for no good reason and that we embarrass her, I say she just can't grasp the full picture and is too mentally challenged to get it.
Just sayin'...
I can only explain things so many times and I just say she will have to remain ignorant.
I will say that she seems to finally get the importance of "chill". She came home today and napped with us for a good long time. Finally, I am making headway in some arena!?! The importance of the pace of the day. Huge!
Anyway,
May you find the rhythm that makes you tick smoothly in your life.
TTFN!
-G
