Letting Off Steam

Hi G-Fans!

Another glorious day!

The concierge stuck close to home for the most part.  She did leave after lunch for a few hours, but when she came back she smelled of horses and she brought us chicken, so how can I stay mad?

And then she fed us quite quickly after her return and then we went to the forest.  She also told me a bunch of times that I was beautiful and gorgeous....  Of course this is true, but it is still good to hear...

The walk was long and nice.  We went a bit late, but that means we weren't overheated at all.  We found turkey feathers and footprints, horse prints and poop as well as coyote or fox droppings.

The even better news is that the concierge did not touch the downstairs in any way to clean.  She did change the bed and has been doing laundry, but that only affects us a little.  Like when Riley and I retire.

Snagglepus assisted in the bed making so we will see what the bed looks like when I go up.

He tends to do that.

He has been out of sorts these days.

He is only half heartedly trying to get outside.

Something is up.

Speaking of something being up....

The concierge fixed the screen slider...

Soon the concierge will have to install a new screen like on the last door.  Riley and Raphael and Snagglepus have done a number on the current one.... it is a mess@

So, may you repair the small rips and tears in life while they are small inconveniences and not wait until they grow into major issues!

A couple of mornings in the last week we have watched a steam show as the morning sun strikes the fence creating the streams of steam........

Rocky told the concierge that he would like to go faster on the trails next time....
He is going to Martha's Vineyard for a vacation tomorrow just like the concierge!  Only the concierge is coming back after a few hours and Rocky is coming back after several weeks.... And then he might have a new owner... his current owner doesn't visit very often...
