Gypsies

Hi G-Fans -
Another glorious day here...

We did a forest walk and enjoyed the "usual"

Did I forget to gross, er, I mean, share with you...?
Yesterday while walking to the bog amidst admiring Lady Slippers Raphael was sniffing quite enthusiastically.
While one such episode was taking he place he pulled off the path with his head down and unexpectedly reared up like a horse to take a large chomp out of a Gypsy moth cocoon which carries thouseands of wriggling caterpillars - the cocnierge pulled him back before he could do anything beyond that.... So he had to have bitten off a large mouthful of silk, but we don't think he got any bodies....
Not only is that not on his current diet, but.....
YEUCH!
So. may you find better things to put in your mouth than the cocoon silk of Gypsy moths!
