Hot on the trail

Hi G-Fans!
Well, the weather was lovely, again :)
Although today did not have the same overall sunniness, just the same, the temperature was delightful and the birds were singing and general joviality presided.
Even including the concierge ditching us twice, it was an outstanding day.
Even our dinner was late, again....
The walk made up for our daytime nap time and the tardiness of our evening meal.
We were on the trails for over an hour and a half and watched the moon rise and the sun set.
We were also hot on a turkey trail.  It was a thrill I can tell you.  We even had visuals and then one of them fluttering out of the tree like a flying elephant!  The sudden commotion scared Harry's concierge significantly.  She refused to be at the rear of the procession after that.  She resigned as the official caboose.
That's ok.
So the helper was complaining that Tessa and Bertie were pulling too much.  The concierge suggested we switch off.  She figured that no one pulls harder than Raphael... and since I have learned to manage my impulses, I don't pull very much... plus I don't like the snout harness pulling on my snout.  It turns out that the helper wasn't "whistling dixie" as the saying goes.... the concierge was surprised at the G-Force provided by Tessa and Bertie.  The were rather rambunctious.
Oh, and we got excited in the car before the walk because we passed two humans on roller skates being pulled by their huskies... oh did that cause a ruckus!
I will say, as I quietly transcribe this, I agree with the helper, I am aware of the tick, tick, tick of the non-digital clock.
It is that quiet and peaceful in here at the moment!
So, may you revel in those quiet moments and let them wash over you.
TTFN!
-G
