Hi G-Fans!
I remembered what I wanted to write last night.
I haven't kept you updated on the environmental glitches that continue to challenge the concierge (aside from the muggy oppressive weather).
But before that I want you to know that today was another oppressive muggy day that we spent inside for the majority of the day. The problem with taking a good long walk is that we will all wilt and pass out from this weather. So the concierge has to wait until it lets up a bit which then makes it very close to being completely dark out. So, we can't make it to the bog or much of anywhere else. So our walks have been snippets of walks. Tonight we walked our "school walk". It was almost uneventful until we walked by some wooded section in front of the school that separates the school parking lot from the street. As we were walking and the concierges were talking, some dude told us to all "be quiet please". It worked! We were all quiet! The concierges said afterwards that they weren't sure what to make of that and didn't want to find out that this was someone with serious mental illness who shouldn't be antagonized. So we made a wide circle around where the voice came from (we never saw anyone) and beat feet.....! Which was a lot of feet to beat!
We all returned unscathed and I am able to relay the story to you.
We were all quite affected by the humidity and not too unhappy to get back into the air conditioning.
So for concierge update it looks like something to share for tomorrow. The concierge REALLY NEEDS her beauty sleep!!
May the voices you hear coming from the bushes be ones of encouragement :)
TTFN!
