Father's Day is coming....

Hi G-Fans!

I know if there is a Mother's day then it is only fair to acknowledge fathers....

But...

Really?

I know there are fit fathers out there, but...

Really?

A whole day?

I carried ten babies and then nurtured them until my body was so underweight the concierge was panicking as to how to keep me in enough calories to nurse ten babies and not get any skinnier.

She finally had to help out with special formula for me and the babies and then wean them earlier than we thought we were going to....

Mind you, I was relieved, since I developed mastitis twice and the second round was a doozy.  

How can a dad compete with that?

They come and go and barely sniff those babies!  And I doubt cleaning their butts is high on their list of things to do!

Oh, and speaking of babies, our dec- nest of birds have hatched and Raphael has tried digging a hole in the deck to see them better,,,,, I already told you that, didn't I?

Well, when you are a mother you will understand...

So, back to fathers day...

I think Seahorses might earn a whole day of recognition for being outstanding fathers.

Do yo know why?

I do.

I am not sure about other species, but I will can check it out and get back to you...

Anyway...

the concierge is going to leave us with Harry's concierge all day tomorrow because of our babysitter 

(of whom we haven't seen in eons)... 

She is taking him to see some of his offspring and their offspring.... it gets complicated.  

Oh, did I mention my concierge is his offspring too?

That is another day's entry though.

It is late and I might have trouble getting my usual beauty sleep in tomorrow, so I need to get as much as I can now.
