Hi G-Fans!
Well, it continues.
Bertie punched me again on our evening constitutional. And again, no jail time, no major repercussions, not much of nothing. I doth protest! I mind my own business. I sit still to get my walking gear put on, I hardly pull on the leash. AND I GET PUNCHED! Bertie, on the other hand, squiggles and squirms while he is being wrassled to get on the walking gear, he bites the leashy parts, he rears up and slaps his paws on the leash which yanks me and Riley and the concierge all at the same time, he jumps like a mexican jumping bean, he lunges like a bull in an arena AND HE PUNCHES ME! He is a BEAST of major proportions. I DON"T LIKE IT! And why should I?
Tonight we walked to the school because it was dark by the time the concierge returned for the third time today. Now, I don't understand why we didn't get a walk in the absolutely stunning weather we has today when the concierge returned for the second time today. I guess it is what it is.
Anyhoo....
We were on the return portion of the walk and suddenly there is a yowling howl from behind us. We turn just in time to see Harry's concierge twisting like the Little Prince in the book by the same name when he was bitten by the snake in order to return to his home planet. Only she didn't fall lightly, she fell with a screeching thud. We raced over to see if she was ok. Now Harry's concierge is prone to twisting ankles and yelping, but this was different and we all knew it right away. So we left her there. No, not like that. We took Harry, left her with Riley to protect her and went to get the vehicle in which to rescue her. Duh.
So I sent my concierge to do all that once she walked us home. And she was a little impatient with us I might add. It wasn't like Harry's concierge was dying or anything, a few sniffs would have been harmless enough I would have thought. But the concierge was getting all over me for being a slowpoke and malingering.
Anyway, it may be that we are going to have an overnight guest because we only have one stair for Harry's concierge to get up, she has too many in order to get to her bedroom and bathroom. So, as it stands now (no pun intended, I assure you) she is getting iced, arnica'd and wrapped at my royal domain. Her helper concierge did Reiki and wanted to have her home.
We shall see. The stairs are looking daunting right now.
On top of that, not to discuss menial things, but the cleaning box in the kitchen isn't cleaning the dishes anymore. The good news is, we all have new par-time jobs. We do dishes!
They are sparkling clean when we are done:)
We have had a few compliments since we started doing that....
"The dishes are so clean! What are you using to get them so clean?"
Anyway, the concierge had someone check that out and has a plan to fire us from our new jobs soon...
It has been over two weeks, we were due for some sort of upheaval!! I don't think there are anymore appliances left to go.... Oh, I take that back.....
Anyway....
May your life be uncomplicated and interesting at the same time.
TTFN!
