#268

Hi G-Fans!
Well, this blog is the 268th entry on my site.  268!  I have shared 268 tidbits of my life, insights and times.....
Hard to believe a dog has so much to share!  Wouldn't you agree?
I had another day of sunshine, crisp spring air and general "feel good" sort of weather today.
Today the weeping cherry tree and the forsythia bush started to show their flowers.  This morning they were closed up, as were many of the daffodils.  By this evening, there were blossoms on the trees and the daffodils burst into bloom today.
The concierge came home somewhat disgruntled this evening, but at least she was in time to get in a bog walk.
Because it was getting late we were treated with some wildlife sightings because many times it is that in between time that our wildlife cousins are either preparing to settle in for the night or are just getting the kinks out for an evening of foraging, mayhem and mischief....so we are more likely to see things or hear things or smell things that we wouldn't at another time of the day.
So, shortly after getting underway, and walking past a gaggle of small humans on and off bikes, we had two deer cross our path just in front of us.  The concierge got a glimpse, but we could SMELL it!  We were in disbelief that so close to our house two deer were meandering about their business.
Then we arrived at the bog and the concierge thought she saw a goose, but knew it wasn't acting very goose-like and there weren't any others with it.... so our friend said he thought it was a heron and they mutually decided that made the most sense.  We didn't really care what it was as long as we could go chase it.  It left way before we ever got close enough for a good look.  We sniffed the water's edge thoroughly, however,  to get as much information as possible.  So, all in all, a successful evening of smells, exercise, excitement and fun.
Now we are ready to get cozy on the bed and pass out with the concierge.
So may you experience the "stunning quiet" of evening with the moon shining on the twinkling stars.
TTFN Fans :)
