Hi G-Fans!
So, I think I forgot to tell you about yesterday's excitement on our walk. I was so focused on the rain and being wet I forgot to tell you about the unexpected runner and her Irish setter.
We, of course, needed to sound the alarms for anyone to hear that there were potential threats making their way through the conservation property.
Irish setters are so non-reactionary.
They ran on like nothing.
We, on the other paw, wound ourselves around bushes and trees and had to be extricated amidst the very wet conditions.
The concierges were less than pleasant about the whole thing.
I think Tessa and Bertie were the only ones being spoken to with any kind of civility.
It is just wrong.
Now, tonight, we stuck to our school route given the later nature of our walk.
We bumped smack dab into another couple like last night, only this was a guy and they weren't running.
While we were clueless it went pretty well.
Once Raphael, Harry and I knew they were headed straight for us we went ballistic.
I say there is never enough enthusiasm to be had in greeting unknown characters.
They veered away for some reason.
Whatever.
So, may you find the sufficient energy to enthusiastically engage in welcoming newcomers into your life.... regardless of their intent..... Just set clear boundaries from the get-go!
TTFN!
