Awaiting the stories......

Hi G-Fans!

Phew - what a day!

First off it was a beautiful sunny comfortable day :)

AND there was a walk in the daylight so we didn't have to pretend we were vampires.

Our day started out with a bump as the concierge dove right into cleaning and picked up where she left off last night.

She didn't get things as clean as she sometimes does, but it was bad enough!

Our beds are still fairly recognizable and there are still some hidden dust bunnies lurking in a corner here and there.

But, it is pretty close to catastrophic.

So much work and gone without a shred of ceremony.

I guess I will have to adopt a laissez faire attitude and have "c'est la vie" become my motto.

I have to say, I am impressed despite the horrificness of it all.

The concierge kicked it into pretty high gear to accomplish as much as she did.

I suppose wreaking havoc takes less persistence than scent building does....

Just sayin'

So, then the whirlwind that is the concierge (I think her back is better) left for a bit and we were able to finally relax for a couple of hours.

Upon her return she smelled of food and other people AND she came back with all sorts of food for Snagglepus and not a shred for anyone else!

Outrageous!

Then shortly after that, in comes Gabriella's concierges and no Gabriella (much to the pleasure of Tessa).

We hung around for a bit and then went to the forest to walk.

It was a very nice walk and we gathered participants as we went.

Then more things went on as apparently our old sitter was having a birthday and the party was at the royal retreat.

Lots of crustaceans and corn and cole slaw butter were cropping up.

And there was cake.

It was a full fledged party!

Everyone had a good time, yes, even me.

So, may your celebrations be frequent and delicious.
