Why would I thank a VET?????

Hi G-Fans!
Another weekend whizzed by.  I hear that some humans aren't doing their usual Monday routine tomorrow and there are going to be parades and whatnot.  The concierge told me it is Vet's Day.  How can we possibly have a parade for the doctors who stick needles in our rears?  It just can't be possible.
OH.
The concierge just explained it to me.
It is VETERAN's DAY!
NOT Veterinarian's DAY!
That is an easy mix-up I should think.
So, I am relieved and thankful that I don't have to thank a vet.
But, I have Vets I am thankful for :)
Thank you for keeping the royal palace safe and secure:)
Allowing me to indulge in things like lounging on my couch.  And sharing my thoughts on blogs.
Thanks!
So, today.
Not sure what I can say about today.
I was a little miffed at the amount of latchkey time we had today.
And yet, there was bog action and snuggle action, so I guess it balanced out.
The bog walk wasn't full fledged, but we did  two-thirds or more of the usual.  Apparently the concierge had better plans to tend to.... On the walk we had a relatively peaceful walk except for the wild hairy four-legged beasts that gnashed their teeth and snarled at us.... We barked like banshees which fortunately worked and they went away!  Thank goodness!
(Concierge Note:  The "wild beasts" were two calm well-behaved LEASHED golden retrievers who happened to surprise us on the path.  They went along their way as we stood aside.  Grace and her entourage acted rabid.  Horrifying.  Really.)
On another up note we had chicken for our bedtime snack and Snagglepus got some too.
We LOVE chicken.
We LOVE Salmon too!
MMmmmMMmmmmMMMM
Snagglepus LOVES CHICKEN!  LOVES IT!
oh, right.... payback is so gratifying.  It was wet and drizzly today.  Guess what that means!  Those clean surfaces aren't so clean anymore!!!  Seems to me that happens a lot.  The concierge springs some cleaning on us and that night or the next day "down comes the rain to wash the clean right out" (said in a sing-songy voice in the tune of "Itsy bitsy spider who went up the water spout....." song).
So, that's it for now.
May you know in your heart that we all have a part in making the world work :)
TTFN!

Sunset from the summer.....
Footprints to.......

From down south, pictures from Harry's concierge and human sister's trip this weekend.

I think the concierge needs to look into making a sculpture of me like that.  AND placing it in front of the door.  I like it!

Another picture from their trip.
