Hi G-Fans!
As you know, we run a well-oiled kingdom around here. So, we are able to focus on things other than the usual.
When needed.
So, when Gabriella needs a place to crash, no problem.
Or Harry (of course), or any of the children for that matter.
But foreigners.
We've only done that a handful of times, and tonight is one of those nights.
Dexter.
Pictured below.
Dexter.
Now I am sure you are wondering how we behaved....
Who growled, who whined, and who was just downright friendly.
Well, all in all we got along splendidly. I think Dexter just became one of the gang within a few minutes.
But I will report that Snagglepus did the most growling - he said he just thought it was the appropriate thing to do since he didn't recognized an animal with curly hair and almost the same size as himself as a dog.
RIley did the next most growling because he is old and crotchety and doesn't like to be around youngsters (never has - Tessa is still traumatized from being nipped by him when she was a little pup ) and Dexter whined the most. Harry acted the most put out and unfriendly. Raphael was probably the friendliest. Who would have thought.
Dexter says he doesn't like to be crated and I don't blame him!
He better let us sleep or the concierge will be having a cranky fit!
She just did her sharply deep, "knock it off" voice because he wasn't sure if we knew he didn't want to sleep in his large crate/kennel that is in the kitchen with Raphael. It worked so far.
Good that it worked, Not good that he whines so easily. And she is ripe to be cranky after the week she has been crabbing about.
So, may we always adjust to our unexpected surroundings with aplomb.
TTFN!
-G
